wikeThere is always some of us in any society, especially on the Internet, who circulate the word without verifying it, which is really confusing the Nation and making them despair, such as the claim that Wikileaks released this or this leader met that leader or somaliland are volunteering 500 soldiers to the Saudis to fight the houthis and other gossips which lead to despair and weakening of morale and hatred amongst us.
>
>
> We are turning a nation who spreads the news without any proof or certainty that the word is true…
>
> Undoubtedly at times of tribulation and elections, there is a lot of propaganda and excitement, hence one is required to verify the rumors.
>
> We all aware that verifying news is involved according to sharia, because Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
>
> “O you who believe! If a Faasiq (liar — evil person) comes to you with any news, verify it, lest you should harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful for what you have done” [al-Hujuraat 49:6]
>
> The Lawgiver issued a severe warning against passing on all that one hears.
>
> It was narrated that Hafs Ibn ‘Aasim said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “It is enough lying for a man to speak of everything that he hears.” Narrated by Muslim in al-Muqaddimah
>
> What is meant by verifying is making the endeavor to find out the truth of the subject, so as to establish whether this can be proven or not.
>
> Verifying means making certain of the accuracy of the story and its circumstances.
>
> Al-Hasan al-Basri said: “The believer reserve judgement until the matter is proven.”
>
> Finally: we advise everyone to verify matters and not to rush to pass on news until they are sure that it is true, even if the news is good news, because if it becomes apparent that the one who passed it on is mistaken, he will lose credibility before the people… and anyone who bears a grudge towards him will use it against him. May Allaah help us all to answer that which He loves and which pleases Him.

> I will jeopardize my reputation on and for all somaliland reputation that this Wikileaks Saudi somaliland and Somalia documents are non genuine or authentic and say it, and say without a query. It exhibits some serious signs of digital manipulation and, has been re-typeset and is shaped.
>
> The reason I say this is because I ponder of the following 11 points that will at least throw some lights into the matter. I hope
>
> 1. Wikileaks information is an obsolete and cannot be confided by the international community as a whole anymore and never have had trusted before
>
> 2. Their aim, intent, aims, role, function, use and intention is to cause frictions and problems between people, states and nations with their unauthentic baseless cut and paste lying information
>
> 3. With my small knowledge about the Internet and its hacking on a daily basis where hackers are at present able to freeze and hack one billion people in seconds, my little brain is telling me that this is one of those things.  Think back, anyone can hack any website and say I am Wikileaks or any
>
> 4. I will tie the alleged documents in here and you can have a go by yourselves.  The text files have no dates, stamps or signatures as such which indicates the authenticity of the alleged document
>
> 5.   Today our people accept  and believe any news that is volunteered to them from the internet without filtering out first and that is the problem with us
>
> 6. Such document or any documents can be without a doubt a piece of paper that anyone could have dropped into the Internet, especially since it bears no signature or date
>
> 7. If the documents were real and genuine, it could have come out long ago when the feigned Wikileaks reports were taking flight along the internet left, right and center like rain pouring down. But why it’s just coming out at once, why not come out 2012. ???
>
> 8. What worries me and in fact is a big worry is the fact that our citizenry and our leaders are jumping up and down on a television and the media with this Wikileaks information that they couldn’t demonstrate or establish its authenticity
>
>
> 9. Lastly, do you think that Mogadishu and Puntland people would have kept this quiet. They would have informed their people and the international community  as soon as they have finished that meeting
>
> 10.  The owner of Wikileaks Julian Assange is hiding behind an international embassy in London, hence his document  or news cannot be affirmed
>
>
> 11. Lastly, I don’t imagine or hold the slightest thought that president Siilaanyo would want to reunite with Mogadishu
> I don’ think anyone from this government, public, or even those  somaliland individuals who live and work in Mogadishu will want for reunification after what has taken place in the late 1980s
>
> Let us be realistic and practical in our approach,
> Let us lead this country forward, not backward mail.google.com
