Minister in charge of Presidential Affairs Hon Hersi Ali Haji Hassan in his social blog was quoted saying , “The country has of recent times seen influx of foreign visitors who have being attracted to the country not only for the investment potentials it has to offer but because it’s an oasis of peace in otherwise a troubled region.

The Presidency Minister in his statement stated , “In the past few months we have seen an increase in the number of foreigners from all corners of the world arriving in the country to establish political relations, investment and commercial partnerships and the close bilateral relationship with the international community.

Therefore, we should not forget the reasons which hold the key in attracting foreign investment which can be accredited with the country’s good track record for being peaceful, democracy, good governance, political stability.

We are open for business and calls on more investors to come to Somaliland and engage in the various potential sectors available for investment in scores of untapped opportunities and which will in turn generate much-needed revenue to support Somaliland development.

Somaliland is a beacon of light and as you’re well aware of already the country attracting interest from a range of international companies who want to tap on the country’s unexplored natural resources and we are now partnering with our neighbors in commercial ventures which will bring prosperity and development to the whole region.
