The Minister of Presidential Affairs Hon Hersi Haji Ali Hassan is leading a high delegation left the country on Friday evening headed to neighboring Djibouti and is expected to meet with top officials in that country to discuss issues ways to strengthening cooperation between the two countries and the regional matters including security, trade and other bilateral issues.
The Presidential Affairs Minister who is accompanied by the Minister of National Planning Dr. Sacad Ali Shire visit and the Minister of Resettlement and Rehabilitations Hon Ahmed Abdi Kahin said the purpose of their visit was aimed at consolidating bilateral good-neighborliness’, brotherhood and advancing pragmatic common interest between the two countries.
Hon Hersi addressing members of the press core yesterday before leaving for Djibouti said, “Djibouti and Somaliland are two neighboring countries and brother united by many common interests and my visit aims to consolidate them.
Ministerial Delegation upon their return to the country toady visited the town of Saylac in Selel region in to access and inspects the ongoing construction work of the Dawga Cad tarmac road which will connect Somaliland and Djibouti, as you’re well aware the government of Turkey has pledged to help built.
