Ms Amina Hersi and all our enterprising ladies do us proud. It is these “Iron Ladies” of Somaliland who have shown the rest what we are made of and how successful we can be, even against all the odds.

I know her and the rest of the Hersi Moghe clan very well. Glad to see her get a heroines welcome in Hargeisa. Behind every successful man and family lies a strong woman. They make us who we are.

Kudos to Dahabshiil for being a gold sponsor of the event. They are investing in our future and we appreciate it. Hope to see such events in our major towns within Somaliland and even the diaspora.

It is the strength and courage of our sisters and mothers that have enabled us to rise from the rubble to reclaim our true position in our land. Go for it. May Allah’s Grace be with all our women I/Allah.
